...This is the mentored version of the course.
PLEASE NOTE: The course start date listed on your enrolment is when you will receive access to Module 1 content, NOT the time you are expected to attend a session. First Zoom Mentored session will be WEDNESDAY 13 August at 6.30pm
The content for the first module will be released on Wednesday 6 August and the first mentored zoom session is Wednesday 13 August at 6.30pm. You will receive zoom links and module access info closer to start date. Each subsequent module will be released the day after each zoom session. You do not need to attend a zoom session at that time. Work through module 1 over the week as preparation for your first mentored zoom session. All mentored zoom sessions will be recorded for students to access. You will maintain access to the module content for 12 months from the start date (will expire 6 August 2026) and access to Zoom class videos will available until early October 2025.

There are 2 rounds. A video round (due Monday 14th June), and a live round (held from 1pm on June 26).
Videos should be uploaded to YouTube following the instructions provided below, and emailed to con.openacademy@sydney.edu.au.
Successful students will join the program from August 2.

THIS IS A FACE TO FACE AUDITION
Notification of your specific 10 min audition time will be sent the week prior to the audition date.
Once you have passed your audition you will be emailed a link to enrol in the term class. The fee for the 8 week term will be $500. If you enrol for an audition by 30 June you will only pay the Early Bird rate $440 (12% discount) for the term, providing you are successful at audition. If you are a current full time student or hold a current pension/healthcare card you are eligible for a 15% discount.

If you enrol for an audition by 30 June, you will only pay the Early Bird rate of $514.80 for the term (12% discount), providing you are successful at audition. If you are a full-time student or hold a current pension/healthcare card you will be eligible for a 15% discount - for this to apply, you will need to enter your ID number when you enrol in the course.
PLEASE NOTE: We will only audition positions that are vacant. Current students have first option to re-enrol. If there are no places available for your instrument, we will inform you and refund your audition fee.
