This class is for Students auditioning to join the Rising Stars Jazz Program in 2026.

There are 2 rounds. A video round (due 5pm Monday 17th November), and a live round (held Monday 1st December from 330pm).

Please note, there is no in person activity on Monday 17th November. This is just the due date and time for your audition enrolment and video application to be received.

Videos should be uploaded to YouTube following the instructions provided below, and emailed to con.openacademy@sydney.edu.au.

Successful students will join the program from Semester 1 2026.

Vocal Fundamentals

In this unique course, students will have the opportunity to work with two specialist tutors, developing fundamental skills in both vocal technique and music literacy in a fun and supportive environment. This will allow students to sing and perform with greater musical understanding.
